On the Chihiryne reservoir in the Bykhaw district, MChS (Ministry of Emergency Situations) rescuers helped a man who ended up in the water. The incident occurred on the evening of October 16 near the village of Chachevichy.

When rescuers arrived at the scene, the man was approximately 100 meters from the shore. He was wearing a life jacket and clinging to a rubber boat, but could not get into it or reach the shore by himself.
MChS employees used a rescue board to bring the man to shore and handed him over to medics. After this, he was hospitalized.

As it turned out, the man was boating with three acquaintances. During refueling, the boat capsized, and all four ended up in the water. Three managed to reach the shore on their own, while the fourth needed the help of rescuers.
