Minsk Resident with Spitz Removed from Bus — And It Turns Out, It Was All According to the Rules
The story with the Minsk resident happened back in May. She recounted on Threads that she was removed from a bus for the first time with her spitz in her arms. Up until then, the woman had traveled like this for six years without any problems. Now, "Minsktrans" has commented on this situation.

Konstantin Gololobov, General Director of "Minsktrans," explained on ONT that dogs and cats in public transport must be transported in carrier bags with an absorbent bottom, and animal documents must be carried.
The requirements have been strengthened since March.
«The woman was simply lucky, one might say, to have traveled like that for 6 years,» he noted.
For certain types of transportation, according to Gololobov, a veterinary passport with vaccinations may also be required.
«Minsktrans» noted that they sometimes receive complaints about the presence of people with animals in the cabin. Therefore, dog owners must adhere to the transportation rules. It is up to the driver to decide whether to disembark a passenger who is carrying a dog or cat simply in their arms.
