Commenting on the possible terms for the resumption of the US Embassy's work in Belarus, Valentin Rybakov noted on Belarus-1 that the American diplomatic mission in Minsk officially never closed, writes BelTA.

Valentin Rybakov also spoke about the possibility of a direct flight from the USA.
He noted that issues such as opening direct flights always take a very long time to resolve. For example, Kazakh airlines have been working on organizing a direct air connection with the USA for eight years.
“To open a direct flight, a whole range of different issues needs to be resolved: these include security issues, and certification of aircraft, pilots, personnel, the airport, and so on. Therefore, we are working. This is one of the issues we constantly discuss in negotiations with the American side,” the diplomat said.
