The renovation of the popular Minsk — Raubichi cycling route begins near the underground passage connecting the Valeryanava shopping complex with the Hipa supermarket, writes the publication pristalica.by.

Previously, the narrow bike path was widened, curbed, and covered with crushed stone. While there is no asphalt paving yet, cyclists are already actively using the updated section. A pedestrian zone is being arranged nearby: approximately 95% of its surface is already laid with tiles. A tactile strip is provided in the middle.

The new route will help residents of Novaya Baravaya more conveniently reach shops and shopping centers. It connects Kopishcha with the neighboring villages of Valeryanava and Baravaya.

In parallel, the N-9031 highway, connecting Kalodzishchy and Zaslaŭje, is being modernized. The carriageway is being widened, road barriers are being installed to increase safety, and the embankments are being updated.

Work also continues at the roundabout in Kopishcha, where Nikolay Komov and Pilotnaya streets intersect.
