EPAM Vice President, Oleg Vilchinsky, one of the business leaders in North America, passed away at 46
According to acquaintances, Oleg passed away as a result of an illness he had been battling for the past few years.
"Incredibly focused, eager for knowledge, curious, a risk-taker — he always strived to be first. Oleg remained so until the very end. He became one of those who built EPAM, and one of those who shaped the company's future. A colleague told me that Oleg wasn't feeling well, but was completely immersed in work and firmly believed he could cope with 'all this'," wrote EPAM founder Arkadiy Dobkin on his LinkedIn page, expressing condolences to Oleg's wife Tatiana and his entire family.

Oleg Vilchinsky was born in Novopolotsk, graduated from the BSU School of Business and Management Technologies, and received an MBA degree. After completing IT courses, he began his career as a software engineer at "Integral".
He joined EPAM more than 20 years ago, starting as a senior business analyst and rising to the position of Vice President, responsible for business areas in North America.
For the last 16 years, Vilchinsky lived in New York. It is known that he is survived by a minor daughter.
"He had plans to grow further and accomplish so much more. It's incredibly unfair to leave at 46 years old";
"He never stayed in one place for long, actively traveled, and worked with clients from various countries," colleagues say, refusing to believe in Oleg's untimely death.
