Woman killed by train in Dobrush district

A pensioner died under the wheels of a diesel train in the Dobrush district. BelTA writes about the incident, which occurred on Monday morning, November 2, 2026.

A resident of Gomel born in 1950 was hit by a train traveling on the Gomel — Tserakhovka route. The woman sustained injuries incompatible with life.

According to the investigation, the pensioner was crossing the railway tracks in an improper place. The train driver sounded loud acoustic signals and applied emergency braking, but could not avoid the collision.
