Pavlyuchenko on Tikhanovsky: Such people have no place in Belarusian politics
“Tsikhanousky does not have the right to speak on behalf of all Belarusians. Even despite what he has been through,” the editor-in-chief of Reform.news expressed his opinion.

The high-profile statements by Siarhei Bespalau, who until recently was Siarhei Tsikhanouski's press secretary, became one of the topics in the new episode of the YouTube project "Sasha, what are you talking about?.."
According to Fiodar Pavliuchenka, editor-in-chief of Reform.news, he knew half of what Siarhei Bespalau said before.
"If Siarhei Tsikhanouski thinks that no one is discussing or telling this... Then everyone is discussing and telling. (...) If someone thinks that Siarhei Bespalau deceived, exaggerated, or something else... No, you shouldn't think so. That's exactly how it is," claims the editor-in-chief of Reform.news.
"We could now express ourselves in a politically correct manner, saying that this is a special style, that anything is possible in politics. I believe that such things are unacceptable in politics," Pavliuchenka continued.
In his opinion, if "a person who is trying to be a politician (...) behaves like this," then "this needs to be fought against."
"Siarhei Tsikhanouski is not the first person with such inclinations in our lives. I think he won't be the last either. And I think that such people have no place in Belarusian politics,"
Pavliuchenka expressed his position and added:
"Unfortunately, they won't understand this themselves. Moreover, I think that they will even find some followers, supporters. This is also normal. But this does not negate the need to prevent such people from representing the interests of all Belarusians.
I repeat again, Siarhei Tsikhanouski can behave as he pleases. The main thing is that it does not violate the Criminal Code of the country in which he lives. But he has no right to speak on behalf of all Belarusians. Even despite what he has been through."

Continuing his thought, Pavliuchenka emphasized that he does not want people to speak on his behalf who have not been elected and who do not have the appropriate mandate, "as Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya does, at least. At least at the level of the Coordination Council, at least at the level of the party leader."
"Therefore, let Siarhei Tsikhanouski think about this, remember it, and take it into account every time he wants to create another cringe," Pavliuchenka noted.
At the same time, the editor expressed doubt that the blogger and former political prisoner will take this into account: "I don't think he will even hear us. I don't think he needs to be defended in this sense."
