More than 50 people, including children, have already died during protests in Iran
On Friday, protesters took to the streets of Iranian cities for the thirteenth consecutive day, despite threats from authorities to use harsh measures and reports that security forces had opened fire and killed demonstrators in the past day. More than 50 people have died during the protests, Reuters reports .

Over 13 days of protests in Iran, sparked by anger against the regime and rising cost of living, more than 51 protesters have died, the Norwegian human rights organization NGO Iran Human Rights reported on Friday.
"At least 51 protesters, including nine children under the age of 18, have died, and hundreds have been injured during the first thirteen days of a new round of nationwide protests in Iran," NGO Iran Human Rights announced, increasing the previous figure of 45 people reported a day earlier.
At the same time, the Iranian human rights organization HRANA stated on Friday that it had recorded at least 62 deaths, including 14 security forces personnel and 48 protesters.
US President Donald Trump, who last week warned Tehran that the US might support the protesters, issued another warning on Friday, stating: "You better not start shooting, because we will start shooting too."
"I just hope that the protesters in Iran will be safe, because it's a very dangerous place right now," he added.
In a televised address, Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei vowed not to back down, accusing demonstrators of acting in the interests of opposition groups abroad and the US, while a prosecutor threatened protesters with the death penalty.
Iran's Ministry of Information and Communications Technology stated that the decision to cut off the internet was made by "competent security authorities given the current situation in the country."
Videos published by state television allegedly showed burning buses, cars, and motorcycles, as well as fires in underground metro stations and banks.
The video showed hundreds of people protesting in Tehran. In one of them, a woman could be heard shouting: "Death to Khamenei!"
Other slogans included calls in support of the monarchy, overthrown in 1979.
