Belarusian sets up production of home bunkers in Poland for protection against missiles and drones

Belarusian businessman Aliaksandr Fursevich, who founded the company BPR-Plastech in Warsaw in 2017, is exploring a new niche in the European market — the production of private underground shelters. While previously the main products were garden cellars for vegetables, now the times dictate new priorities: the company offers full-fledged bunkers for human protection.

Turbulent times have updated the assortment of the Warsaw-based company BPR-Plastech. In addition to their branded garden cellars for food storage, the businessman now also offers underground bunkers where, along with necessary food supplies, the owner and their family can hide for a certain period quite comfortably, writes Vadim Syakhovich's channel.

The presentation on the BPR-Plastech website states that such a shelter "is designed to protect against the most probable threats — falling debris from drones or missiles, fragments of destroyed buildings, or stray shots".

Prices for the Belarusian's bunkers range from 13.7 to 18.5 thousand euros. For 4,690 euros, a two-to-three-person underground survival capsule is offered, but at that price — without space for food supplies.

By the end of 2024, sales of BPR-Plastech, which Aliaksandr Fursevich co-owns with Natallia Fursevich on a parity basis, grew by more than 30% and reached 3.3 million zlotys.

It is unknown what part of this amount is attributed specifically to bunkers, and what part to traditional garden cellars.

The cellars are sold under the brand Natural Fridge (their price ranges from 2 thousand to 14 thousand euros) and, as stated on the website, have already found over 800 buyers in Poland, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.
