Ministry of Labour Announced Expansion of Digital Services Instead of a Multitude of Papers
The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection plans to significantly expand digital services related to various life situations of citizens, to make procedures simpler, faster, and less dependent on paper documentation, Deputy Minister Yulia Berdnikova reported .

For example, it is planned that upon the birth of a child, a person will be able to perform several important actions at once within a single digital process: register the child at the Civil Registry Office (ZAGS), register them at their place of residence, and initiate the assignment of various payments and benefits related to the birth and upbringing of the child. This will significantly reduce the number of trips to various institutions and save time.
Similarly, it is planned to digitalize procedures related to a person's death. Currently, this requires collecting various papers and making personal appeals to state bodies, but in the future, this will happen through electronic services: obtaining a death certificate in electronic form, registration at the Civil Registry Office (ZAGS), and the automatic initiation of the procedure for assigning funeral benefits.
Separately, the introduction of electronic sick leave certificates is noted. This means that instead of the traditional paper "sick leave," employees will not need to submit paper documents to the employer — all information will be processed and transmitted electronically. It is also planned to test the system for maternity benefits, and after successful verification, extend it to other types of temporary incapacity for work.
In addition, the automatic assignment of certain payments is already being developed in the country, for example, disability pensions. In such a case, when information systems record the corresponding life event, the payment is assigned without the need for additional applications from the person.
