In Belarus, maximum release prices have been set for fresh cucumbers and tomatoes of domestic production. The relevant resolution was adopted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food on October 13, 2026.

The maximum price per kilogram of cucumbers will range from 6.1 to 6.4 rubles, depending on delivery conditions. For red tomatoes, excluding cherry-like and cluster varieties, the price was set from 6.9 to 7.24 rubles per kilogram.
The restrictions will be in effect during the off-season period of 2026-2027. For cucumbers, it will last from November 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027, and for tomatoes — until April 30.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food explained the decision by the need to ensure the domestic market with local products at affordable prices.
However, the determined prices do not apply to all sales. They cover the sale of vegetables by producers to legal entities for the fulfillment of state orders, as well as deliveries to procurement organizations within the framework of these orders.
Thus, this does not mean that cucumbers and tomatoes in all Belarusian stores must not cost more than the specified amounts. Retail prices may be higher.
