A service for signing contracts online is being developed in Belarus
In Belarus, the electronic service "E-Contract" is being developed, which will allow contracts to be concluded online. One of its first applications will be the purchase and sale of cars. Yegor Voranov, head of the information technology department of the National Center for Electronic Services, announced this on October 21, the "Minsk-News" agency writes .
The service is designed to simplify the conclusion of contracts between citizens, as well as between individuals and legal entities. It will operate based on ready-made templates, into which necessary information about transaction participants is planned to be entered automatically.
Users will only need to check the correctness of the information, agree on the terms, and sign the document. This will avoid independent paper filling and the exchange of numerous file versions.
Developers are considering various ways of signing documents. In addition to the electronic digital signature, alternative mechanisms for confirming consent are being worked out, including one-time passwords. This should make the service accessible even to those who do not have an appropriate electronic signature carrier or a document with the necessary capabilities.
One of the first options for using the service will be the execution of a car purchase and sale agreement. It is assumed that the buyer and seller will be able to conclude it electronically directly at the site where cars are sold.
In the future, "E-Contract" is planned to be used for other types of contracts as well. For example, with its help, it will be possible to formalize housing leases when the document must be signed by both parties, as well as prepare documents that require the consent of several citizens.
Additionally, the service is considered as a tool for generating documents within administrative procedures.
