Two repeat offenders and a 26-year-old police officer, Kleshchenko, have been arrested for the murder of a man in the Borisov Correctional Facility.
The entire leadership of the Borisov District Department of Internal Affairs has been dismissed.

In July 2025, the entire leadership of the district police was suddenly changed in Borisov. The head of the police department, Sergei Solovei, left his post (he was the one who zealously acted in Soligorsk in 2020, personally leading the harsh detentions of demonstrators, and then was promoted).
His first deputy, Mikhail Murashkin, a former GUBOPiK officer, was also fired. During the events of 2020, he was among the heads of the Zhodino police, for which he was included in the European sanctions lists.
The head of the criminal police, Igor Poznyakov, and the head of the operational duty service, Valery Bondarenko, were also dismissed - and the latter held the position for only six months.
What kind of earthquake happened in Borisov? The details of the shocking story became known thanks to the testimony of former political prisoner Igor Losik. In early 2025, he was in the KGB pre-trial detention center. The day before the presidential elections, a strange recidivist was thrown into his cell.
"All blue, in a bunch of tattoos with swastikas, crossed out, named Vyacheslav Shvets, he is 48 years old, of which 31 years are spent in prison," wrote Igor Losik on his Telegram channel.
The KGB pre-trial detention center does not contain the most ordinary prisoners - most often there are corrupt officials, businessmen, and some political prisoners. And this marginal Shvets - according to Belpol, he already has 12 convictions in his record: he stole cell phones, bicycles, and even once cleaned out a church in Borisov - was sent not to an ordinary "police" pre-trial detention center, but under the control of the KGB. What did he do?

It turns out that in the Borisov temporary detention center (isolation ward, located actually in the premises of the police department), the police organized a special "press cell", where they beat confessions out of detainees. However, not by the hands of the security forces themselves, but by recidivists like Shvets and his neighbor Aliyev. Aliyev is of Azerbaijani origin, but lived in Baranovichi. So far, less information has been collected about him.
According to Losik, the cell where Shvets and Aliyev were held had a telephone, TV, any food, vodka and even drugs.
There is no legal justification for why they are in the temporary detention center. In general practice, detainees in a criminal case are there for no more than 10 days (and for most articles - up to 3 days), after which they are transferred to a pre-trial detention center. If their sentence has entered into force, then they are sent from the pre-trial detention center to a colony or prison. However, at least in the case of convicts, the police practice such a deviation from the law - some criminal authorities who have cooperated with the security forces are formally registered as employees of the economic unit, but in reality they are left in the cells. From their cell, they must control the lives of other prisoners, if necessary, such authorities (or simply prisoners of impressive build) can be at the head of the "press cells".
According to Losik, at the end of January 2025, Shvets and Aliyev overdid it with beating testimony out of a 59-year-old resident of Borisov. "They beat him with their feet, hands and a bottle of water on the head. As a result, he died," Losik learned. The police officers who worked in the temporary detention center did not prevent this.

The controller monitors the order in the cells. In some temporary detention centers, video surveillance is placed in the cells, in others there is a special peephole in the doors for inspection. However, even if an incident occurs in the cell and urgent help is needed, for security reasons, the police officer does not have the right to enter the cell alone, he must first call for armed reinforcement.
It is unknown after what period of time assistance was provided to the beaten resident of Borisov. There is no confirmed information about the identity of the murdered man.
The KGB dealt with the murder in the police facility, so Shvets and Aliyev were transferred to a specialized pre-trial detention center. There, at night, they were even handcuffed to the bunks by two hands, so that nothing would happen.
"I remember these two (Shvets and Aliyev. - NN): terrible screams stood throughout the "American" (KGB pre-trial detention center). It was at the beginning of this year. And it was unusual: KGB officers consider themselves an elite caste that does not stoop to methods of physical violence. And here - every morning and every evening screams, cries, swearing, controllers are angry as hell...
"[Once] a man came to us [in the cell] who knew the details: he said that one of them killed a man, and the other was allegedly a witness. That the KGB is digging under the cops, and therefore they were transferred to the "American", and that the case is very serious. And the reason for the screams is that they do not know how to behave (the "American" has its own rules that are strictly followed, and no "concepts" and "blatant" are allowed there) and that they are being broken like that. They endured this regime for about a month, then everything calmed down, although there were often exacerbations."
"Very quickly, one was cracked, he realized that there was no point in denying it, everything fell on the camera, and this time the recording could not be hidden. The second resisted longer, but also gave up. As a result, they collected so much testimony that, if you go by law, then a lot of criminal cases need to be reviewed, because confessions on them were beaten out by force by these two. They named many names: someone is still sitting, someone has been released, and investigators traveled all over the country and took testimonies from prisoners who were beaten by this couple," Losik continues.
The prisoners were interrogated by KGB investigators, and they investigated the case against the police, who could not but know about the scheme with beating out testimony. However, the entire leadership of the Borisov police was dismissed, but left at large.
And the head of the Borisov police department was taken to Minsk - now Sergei Solovei is the head of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for ideological work and personnel support.
However, at least one police officer was arrested, and Nasha Niva learned his name.
It is still unclear what role 26-year-old Anton Kleshchenok played in the scheme with beating out testimony. Perhaps he was on duty that night when a man was killed in the temporary detention center. It is noteworthy that although the murder occurred back in January 2025, Kleshchenok was arrested quite recently. The last time he was online "Vkontakte" at 6 am on November 11. Most likely, on that day he was not released from another interrogation.

The policeman is signed in social networks as "Tony Kleshchenok" with a lightning bolt at the end of the name. In other people's phone books, he is recorded as "Anton Dmitrievich District Police Officer", "Investigator", "Anton UII (Criminal Executive Inspection) Kleshchenok", "Supervision Anton Dmitrievich", "Cop".
According to the Cyber Partisans, Anton Kleshchenok graduated from school No. 13 in Borisov. After, judging by the databases, he studied for some time at the Molodechno Trade and Economic College. As of the beginning of 2021, Tony Kleshchenok was already working in the Borisov police. He is divorced, his ex-wife remained with a small child.

At least one of the recidivist prisoners will be tried for murder. There is no certainty about the second: he is considered either an accomplice in a group murder with particular cruelty, or simply a witness. It is also unknown what article Kleshchenok is charged with. If only negligence that led to the death of a person, then he can be limited to three years of "chemistry" or two years of imprisonment. If the police officer is considered the organizer of the criminal scheme, then he will be tried under the same execution article as the direct perpetrator.
By the way, there has already been a murder behind bars in the recent history of Belarus. In 2012, recidivist Grigory Yuzepchuk killed his neighbor Igor Khodakov in a cell in the Mogilev prison. According to human rights activists, the reason was Khodakov's homosexual orientation. For that murder behind bars, 45-year-old Yuzepchuk was shot.
