Belarus and the Dominican Republic plan to mutually abolish visas. Alexander Lukashenka has approved the draft of the corresponding intergovernmental agreement.

The document stipulates that citizens of both countries will be able to enter, exit, and transit through each other's territory without visas. However, they will be allowed to stay in the country for no more than 30 days from the moment of entry and no more than 90 days within a calendar year.

Now, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus must continue negotiations on the draft agreement and sign it. The process of preparing for visa abolition began back in September 2023.

The Dominican Republic occupies the eastern part of the island of Hispaniola in the Caribbean Sea. It is famous for its beaches, which have a total length of 1500 kilometers. Tourists are offered holidays in "all-inclusive" hotels, villas with swimming pools, and near beaches. Most often, flights with tourists in this direction from our region depart from Warsaw and Moscow. The duration of a holiday usually ranges from one to two weeks.
