Illegal military drone production found in Poland. Most of the accused are Belarusians
Illegal production of military drones has been discovered in Poland. The prosecutor's office has sent an indictment to the District Court in Warsaw regarding the production and sale of such drones without the necessary permits and licenses, Mostmedia reports .

Among the accused are three Belarusian citizens, a woman with dual Polish and Ukrainian citizenship, and a Polish citizen.
All five defendants are charged with participation in an organized criminal group. Two of them are additionally accused of creating and leading this group. It is believed that its members profited from the production and export of military-grade drones without appropriate permits and licenses.
According to the investigation, the group operated from at least November 16, 2022, to February 13, 2025.
During the investigation, it was found that at least 176 drones were in various stages of production in the manufacturing workshop. They were classified as military-grade products.
The investigation believes that the production was disguised as legitimate economic activity, and then the drones were illegally offered for sale outside Poland.
Two of the accused were taken into custody. Non-custodial preventive measures were applied to the others. The assets of the defendants were seized for a total amount exceeding 3 million zlotys (about 760 thousand dollars).
For the crimes of which the group members are accused, they face up to 10 years of imprisonment, and its leaders face up to 15 years.
