The Bolshoi Theatre in Minsk launches a series of meetings for spectators
The Tapestry Hall will be the meeting place.

A meeting for spectators titled «Theatre as a time machine: what the walls of opera halls hide» will take place at the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus as part of the cultural and educational project «Cultural Minimum» on October 17 at 17:00, reports Times.by.
The theatre's press service noted that over decades, the opera theatre has transformed from a closed club for the chosen few into a space open to everyone.
Together with Maxim Lunev, a specialist from the organizational and creative department, meeting participants will learn how the shape of the hall and the arrangement of seats emphasize the era, and why sometimes the main action took place not on stage, but among the spectators.
The Tapestry Hall will be the meeting place for theatre enthusiasts.
The meetings will be held in a conversational format. Instead of memorizing dry terms, participants will discuss how time and fashion were reflected on stage, recall great artists, and learn to see the fine thread that connects world history, cultural traditions, and the specifics of the opera and ballet stage.
