The incident occurred in late December. The body of a man born in 1958 was found in one of Minsk's apartments. It turned out that he had arrived in the Belarusian capital the day before for a personal meeting with an online acquaintance.
While in the apartment, the man suddenly felt unwell. The ambulance crew that arrived at the call was unable to help him and only confirmed his death.
To clarify the circumstances of the incident, a forensic medical examination was conducted. It showed that the cause of death was severe cardiovascular diseases — atherosclerosis of the aorta with the formation of an abdominal aortic aneurysm against a background of arterial hypertension. The illness was complicated by the rupture of the aortic wall, internal bleeding, and significant blood loss.
Experts noted that such diseases often proceed without obvious symptoms and can lead to sudden death, including under the influence of strong emotions or stress.
