On May 28, a strong wind with gusts up to 21 m/s swept across Belarus. The raging elements led to the fall of 51 trees. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Cases of tree falls were recorded in Minsk, as well as in Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno, and Mogilev regions.
There were also damages: in Haradok district, a fallen tree damaged the roof of a residential house, and in the capital, two cars were hit.
Rescuers and communal services promptly traveled to all regions to saw and clear the debris. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
