«Today I received a review: some in Russia say that someone is trying to separate Belarus from Russia. I won't even comment. I will only say one thing: there is no force today capable of separating Belarus from Russia and Russia from Belarus. Circumstances have aligned such that they have bound us together, probably for many, many decades and centuries. Although, in general, Belarus has nothing to reproach us for. We have always been oriented towards Russia. Much, if not all, of ours is there. Our resources are there, our market is there, if we speak of the economy. We have complete unity in this regard. And in political (relations)», — said Lukashenka.
