Major Tram Accident Occurred in Milan

As a result of a serious incident involving a Milan tram, one person has died and around 40 more were injured, Euronews reports .

Reportedly, on February 27, around 4:00 PM, tram No. 9, which was moving in the direction of Porta Genova, derailed on Viale Vittorio Veneto street.

After this, the vehicle lost control and crashed into a building, affecting several pedestrians and a shop window. The causes of the accident are being investigated.

According to preliminary data from rescuers, one person died and 38 were injured.
