Alena and Siarhei Aliakhnovich from Salihorsk district are raising 15 children, 14 of whom are minors. Among the children are: Nathan, Naomi, Michelle, Yesenia, Melissa, Reuven, Yafim, Lolita, David, Mark, Alisa, Veronika, Violetta, Yana, Alena. A total of 10 girls and 5 boys, writes Onliner.by.
They live in the village of Tyčyny.
"Honestly, we didn't plan to become such a large family. I don't know such a word as 'plan'. But I myself came from a family of 11 children, and my husband also had a large family. That's how it happened," says Alena.
Siarhei works at "Belaruskali", and Alena has always devoted herself to the home and did not work outside its walls.
"I have all professions. Both a psychologist, a driver, and a cook. And no one has such responsibility as a mother. Only a mother can soothe a child," Alena shared.
In one interview, the woman said that the family was offered a nanny to look after the children, but the family decided that there was no need for it: everyone takes care of each other.
