Grodno resident set up an elaborate criminal scheme with product substitution from a marketplace
A resident of Grodno found a source of income by developing a scheme involving product substitution on a marketplace. It even worked four times, but the jar only carries water until it breaks, reports the Department of Internal Affairs of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee.

The 25-year-old man ordered two identical products — one original, the other a cheap copy. After receiving the branded item, he sold it for a price lower than the market value, and returned the copy to the pickup point, pretending it was the original.
He repeated this scheme at least four times until he was exposed. The marketplace's security service reported the material damage incurred, amounting to more than 4 thousand rubles, to the police.
A criminal case has been opened against the detainee under the article "Fraud committed repeatedly." The punishment under this article can include imprisonment for up to four years.
