A resident of Zhlobin, who had significant debts, tried to hide from bailiffs in the forest, the Main Department of Justice of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee reported.

After inheriting from his mother, the man received not only a house but also credit obligations. However, he was not in a hurry to pay them off and even accumulated new debts for utility services and communication.

As a result, several enforcement proceedings were initiated against the Zhlobin resident for a sum exceeding two thousand rubles. But when the bailiffs started looking for him, the man disappeared. It was learned from local residents that he was living in the forest.

It turned out that the man had built a hut there and equipped it for a long stay: there were seating areas, belongings, and a campfire for warmth.

After his hiding place was discovered, the man explained that he lives on occasional odd jobs, which are only enough for daily needs, but not for paying off debts. That's why he decided to hide.

After a conversation with the bailiffs, the man promised that he would, after all, pay off his arrears.
