Belavia airline announced that new rules and tariffs for the transportation of additional luggage will come into force on June 1, 2026. These changes apply to passengers whose fare plan already includes a certain amount of luggage, but who wish to bring one or more additional suitcases.

The main innovation is the change in tariffs for an additional piece of luggage. It will now cost from 40 to 100 euros. The exact amount depends on several factors: the ticket fare (e.g., "Promo", "Light", "Smart", and others), the flight direction, and when and how the passenger arranges this service.
It is most advantageous to pay for additional luggage immediately when purchasing a ticket on the airline's official website. In this case, minimum tariffs apply. If a passenger decides to add luggage later online, after an already purchased ticket, the cost will increase by approximately 10 euros.
The most expensive option is payment at the airport or through other offline channels (e.g., at ticket offices). In this case, the cost can reach 65-100 euros depending on the route.
New rules apply to both direct flights and routes with connections if all flights are operated by Belavia. Moreover, if different tariffs apply to different segments of the route, the higher one will be applied.
There are also important time conditions: an additional piece of luggage can be arranged via the website no later than two hours before departure. If the passenger subsequently changes the date, route, or flight, the previously paid service is not transferred — it will need to be arranged and paid for again.
