The 52-year-old Russian Sergei Brylin has been appointed head coach of the hockey club 'Dinamo-Minsk'.

Russian specialist Sergei Brylin is well-known for his performances as an active hockey player in the National Hockey League. From 1994 to 2008, he defended the colors of the 'New Jersey Devils' club, with whom he won the Stanley Cup three times — in 1995, 2000, and 2003.
After ending his playing career, Brylin transitioned to coaching. Since 2012, he has worked within the 'New Jersey Devils' system: initially focusing on developing young hockey players in the farm club, then serving as an assistant coach for American Hockey League teams, and from 2022 to 2026, he was part of the coaching staff of the club's main team.
A contract with the new head coach has been signed for three seasons. 'Dinamo-Minsk' noted that they chose a specialist who can effectively work with both foreign players and young hockey players.
The new season of the Continental Hockey League starts on September 5, 2026, and the regular championship will conclude on March 20, 2027.
