Anaphylactic shock is unlikely. What the clinic says about the death of 30-year-old Valeriya, who died during a tooth extraction
Belarusians were shaken by the tragedy of a 30-year-old doctor from Starobin — she went to have a wisdom tooth extracted under anesthesia and died . Now, a commission of the Ministry of Health is conducting an investigation into this matter. What is known?

At the «Stomarus» clinic, where 30-year-old Valeriya Babrovnik sought treatment, reported to Onliner that state bodies and the Ministry of Health commission are investigating the case.
The medical center considers the version of anaphylactic shock, which spread on social media, to be unlikely.
«Stomarus» stated that the patient "did not exhibit the clinical picture of anaphylactic shock". Meanwhile, specialists are yet to make final conclusions about the causes of death.
According to the clinic, the quality of care provided to Valeriya is now being checked at all stages — in the medical center itself, during the ambulance's operation, and in the hospital. Investigative actions are also being carried out.
«Until the completion of official examinations, any statements in the public space are premature», — noted the medical center.
The clinic refused to comment further on the patient's condition and the care provided to her, citing medical confidentiality.
As Onliner found out, after Valeriya's condition deteriorated, she was given resuscitation, an ambulance was called, and she was hospitalized.
Valeriya Babrovnik's death became known at the end of October. The woman was 30 years old and worked as the deputy head of the medical department at Starobin City Hospital. Valeriya is survived by her husband and a son, who is in second grade.
