Belarusbank has temporarily suspended MoneyExpress money transfers from the bank's UnionPay cards to UnionPay cards in China, effective November 4. This was reported on the financial institution's website.

The restrictions apply to transfers made via the bank's website and the "M-Banking" service. As an alternative, clients are offered to send money to China in Chinese yuan to the recipient's bank details. To do this, customers must contact a Belarusbank branch directly.
The bank explained that the transfers were suspended due to technical reasons. They stated that they are taking measures to restore this service as soon as possible. Information regarding the resumption of transfers will be provided additionally.
Previously, StatusBank suspended international transfers in dollars to China. As an alternative, it reinstated the option to send money to the PRC in Chinese yuan.
