How many electric vehicles are there in Belarus?

The number of electric transport in the country is growing every year.

"Every year, the number of electric transport in the Republic of Belarus grows, and as of October 1, the number of electric vehicles has already exceeded 73 thousand units," said Vice Prime Minister Viktor Karankevich, writes sb.by.

Viktor Karankevich noted that passenger electric transport is also actively developing in the country, which, among other things, is produced in Belarus.

"Many electric buses already operate on the roads of Minsk and regional centers. Projects have been implemented to switch cities like Shklov, Zhodino, Novopolotsk to passenger electric transport," the Vice Prime Minister emphasized.

He added that electric buses will be provided to Minsk's satellite towns — Smolevichi and Fanipol.
