Three multi-story buildings are being constructed on the site of the once-planned "Traipala" Shopping and Entertainment Center

On the outskirts of Minsk, on the site of a former commercial long-term construction project on Kursanta Hvishiyani Street, which was never completed, the construction of three residential buildings with 396 apartments is progressing very actively. The Telegram channel "Minskbud" reports significant progress on the site, as noted by Realt.by .

The new construction, led by MAPID, is located next to the "Marmelad" residential complex. Previously, an unfinished commercial object was located on this site. The company "Traipl" wanted to build a shopping and entertainment complex here, but it failed to fulfill its obligations. In 2024, the unfulfilled Shopping and Entertainment Center was demolished.

The customer for the construction of residential buildings near Independence Avenue is the Capital Construction Department (UKB) of Zavodski district. Three 19-story panel towers are simultaneously rising here. Each building will have 132 apartments and two elevators. All apartments in the multi-story buildings have already been offered to those on waiting lists according to relevant directions. The housing will be delivered with full finishing — wallpaper, tiles, laminate.

According to the plan, construction should be completed by the end of 2028, but it seems that the builders will finish much faster. For instance, while in summer there were only the basements of two MAPID multi-story buildings and the pile field of the third on the construction site, today eleven floors have already been assembled on the first building, nine on the second, and the first is underway on the third.

Extensive work has also been carried out on the arrangement of flat parking lots from the side of the avenue, and work on the construction of engineering structures is underway.

Next to each multi-story building, a bicycle storage unit (velobox) and a site for a solid waste collection point (SWCP) are planned, along with a charging station for three electric vehicles, and two children's playgrounds. There will also be a common sports zone with three courts within the block.
