Trump's Press Secretary, Who Worked for Just Five Days, Published His Secret Project

Katie Zakaria served as press secretary to US President Donald Trump for just five days. Her unsuccessful start and dramatic failure were followed by an equally disastrous farewell: shortly after her dismissal, Zakaria published a photo with Trump from the Oval Office and accidentally revealed his secret plan, reports Bild.
In the photo, Zakaria stands next to Trump, who is sitting at his desk and smiling broadly. A map lies on the tabletop, its image noticeably blurred.
However, observers recognized on it the outlines of the historic East Potomac Park in Washington. Trump intends to rebuild the golf course located there, which has been causing controversy for several months.
The fact is that for this reconstruction, more than 400 trees were cut down in the park. Further felling has been temporarily halted by a federal judge. Following this, the Trump administration accused the judge of "hostility." Furthermore, the government assured that there was no final golf course project yet, as it first needed to undergo environmental review and a historical preservation compliance check.
However, judging by the map on Trump's desk, this was untrue. At least, so suggested the Save East Po initiative group, which sarcastically remarked in connection with Zakaria's photo: "Nothing says 'We have no plan' like a photo with a map resembling a plan on the President's desk."
Zakaria Doesn't Consider Herself Guilty
The photo gaffe, apparently, put Trump in such a difficult position that he nevertheless admitted he has a plan for the park's reconstruction. The historic golf course is planned to be closed for 15 months.
According to Trump's vision, the course should then become suitable for hosting world-class tournaments. However, it is doubtful that opponents of the reconstruction and the courts will allow him to carry out his plans so easily.
Zakaria herself feels no guilt after the accidental information leak. She complained that a "very nice photo" was being turned into something scandalous. Communications Director Steven Cheung also accused the media of nitpicking a "harmless photo."
