Among possible targets are nuclear facilities, energy infrastructure, and arsenals of missiles and drones

The military departments of the USA and Israel have developed plans for new strikes on Iran, which could begin after the midterm congressional elections on November 3. The New York Times, citing sources, writes that it is about a short-term, but intense operation.
As part of the preparations, the military has intensified exercises, and US Defense Secretary Pete Hegset discussed possible attacks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
According to the publication, likely targets could be Iran's nuclear facilities, energy infrastructure, as well as arsenals of missiles and drones. Several sources of the publication claim that a new series of strikes is capable of inflicting critical damage on the Iranian economy and forcing Tehran to make concessions.
However, the resumption of hostilities will be more successful than the previous US-Israeli strike campaign from February to April, which led to rising energy prices and the depletion of American interceptor missile stocks.
