"Blood flowed like a river": Girl on Hurghada — Minsk flight felt ill during flight
An incident occurred on Belavia flight B28214 on December 9.

A girl with a high temperature, who was on board, had blood vessels burst in her nose at altitude. A severe nosebleed began, which was difficult to stop for a long time, writes the Telegram channel "Ot vinta".
High temperature itself makes blood vessels more fragile. In an airplane, the air is very dry, the mucous membrane dries out and becomes even more vulnerable. At altitude, a pressure drop is added — not critical, but in a sick person it can increase the load on the blood vessels.
Therefore, with fever and inflamed nasal mucosa, a nosebleed during flight can indeed be severe and difficult to stop — it's a combination of factors, not "altitude itself".
Medical assistance to the girl was provided by flight attendant Lyudmila and paramedic Larisa. Additionally, the flight had to be routed further north of Moscow due to drone attacks on Russian territory, so the flight time increased by about half an hour.
Fortunately, everything ended well: after landing in Minsk, the pilot thanked the heroines who provided assistance "over the loudspeaker". The girl left the plane on her own, hospitalization was not required.
In the comments under the video, the author notes that, according to flight attendant Lyudmila, who has 13 years of experience in aviation, such a terrible incident happened to her for the first time.
"If you were on board, you couldn't help but appreciate her efforts," writes the video's author.

"Why should we somehow restrict ourselves?". RTBD director explained why she staged a play based on Pushkin in one of the last theaters in the country that worked in Belarusian
