College student tortured his underage roommate and filmed it — a verdict has been reached
Using handcuffs, electrical tape, and a pneumatic weapon, a senior college student tormented a 16-year-old teenager, while his peer filmed the torture.
According to the Slutsk district prosecutor's office, on one of the days in September 2025, an 18-year-old student of a vocational-technical college intentionally beat a 16-year-old teenager who lived with him in the same room.
The guy cuffed the teenager's hands behind his back with metal handcuffs, wrapped electrical tape around his head, then delivered at least eight blows with his hands to various parts of his roommate's body and fired two plastic pellets at him from an air pistol.
What was happening was filmed on video by the young man's peer, who later published it online.
The Slutsk District Court sentenced the accused to 2 years and 6 months of "khimiya" (restricted freedom) with a fine of 60 basic units (totaling 2700 Belarusian rubles). The court also ordered him to pay 2000 rubles as compensation for moral damages.
The verdict has not yet entered into force and may be appealed or protested in appellate procedure.
