Belarusians to get visa-free stay in Montenegro extended by a month, but there's one condition
Montenegrin authorities plan to change the entry rules for citizens of Belarus and Russia. From November 1 this year, a visa regime will be introduced for them. However, Belarusians who enter Montenegro no later than October 31 will be able to stay in the country without a visa for another 30 days.

For those who cross the border after November 1, a visa will already be required for entry.
Thus, the visa-free regime will effectively be extended for another month for those who manage to arrive in Montenegro before the set deadline.
However, Montenegro was not a very popular tourist destination for Belarusians anyway. Although a visa was not required for the country itself, it was impossible to get there without a transit Schengen visa.
According to Belstat data, in 2025, only 261 citizens of Belarus visited Montenegro through organized tours. For comparison, last year, nearly 162.5 thousand Belarusians traveled to Turkey through tourist companies, more than 159 thousand to Russia, about 112.8 thousand to Egypt, 78.1 thousand to the UAE, and almost 46 thousand to Georgia.
