Belarus to send new batch of potash to USA soon

The first batch is already in the port of New Orleans.

Belarus will send a new batch of potash to the United States in the near future. This was reported to journalists by Valentin Rybakov, Permanent Representative of Belarus to the UN, following a report to Lukashenka, BelTA writes.

“One shipment of our potash is already in the port of New Orleans. It has fully cleared customs and been accepted as a Belarusian product. This means that we have a concrete practical result from the Americans lifting sanctions from our potash industry,” the diplomat said.

“In the nearest future, obviously, the next shipment will be sent to the US market,” he announced.

The first batch of potash after the lifting of sanctions was sent in September. On September 15, Belarusian Potash Company shipped 30,000 tons onto a vessel in the Russian port of Bronka (St. Petersburg).

On October 14, the potash arrived in New Orleans.
