Two Belarusians Suspected of Planning Sabotage Near German Nuremberg
German special services claim that two men participated in planning a series of attacks on railway and energy infrastructure in the Nuremberg area, and they have been arrested, reports Welt.
The Munich prosecutor's office is investigating the case of two Belarusians; sources in law enforcement confirmed this to the publication.
Two men, aged 39 and 50, are suspected of attempted arson near a railway track and a power line.
Both suspects have been in custody since the beginning of October.
According to Welt, these are the same men who are under investigation by Romanian security authorities. Both were allegedly involved in the arson of an industrial park in the city of Brașov on the night of September 14.
