A native of Slabodka village in Glusk district saved ancestral items from oblivion and created a space where both wooden tools and household items from the Soviet era are located side by side, writes Magilev.by.

What do an ancient beehive log and a Soviet refrigerator have in common? These items have become exhibits in this museum.

A true open-air time machine was created by local native Valentina Samuylik.

She literally collected this history item by item: she found some things in her parents' house, and saved others from abandoned neighboring homes. The result is an exposition where items from a Soviet childhood coexist with ancient wooden tools that our ancestors used for centuries.

Valentina has big plans for the development of this space, though she is still wary of sharing them – so as not to jinx it. But the hostess smiles: "As soon as everything I've planned works out, I'll definitely invite you to visit!"

Meanwhile, anyone passing by can stop in Slabodka to stop time for a moment.
