Yulia Komleva noted that Zuyeva confidently performed at the first three World Cup stages, which took place in Canada, the USA, and the Netherlands. In the 3000 and 5000-meter distances, the athlete demonstrated clear progress: starting in Group B, she showed results that allowed her to move to Group A. According to Komleva, it can now be confidently stated that the license has already been secured.
Official confirmation is to be expected after the Olympic quotas are published following the results of the fourth World Cup stage in Hamar, which will take place on December 12-14.
The first license for Belarus was previously obtained by figure skater Viktoria Safonova.
The 2026 Olympic Games will take place in the Italian cities of Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo from February 6 to 22.
