A residential quarter will be built in Minsk on the site of 1950s two-story buildings
The appearance of the capital's area, delimited by Piragova and Lubanskaya streets, is set for radical changes. Instead of the private sector and low-rise buildings from the mid-last century, a modern residential quarter with a landscaped territory will appear here, reportedthe "Minskstroy" enterprise.

Pre-design solution by "Minskgrazhdanproekt"
"Minskstroy," acting as the project's client, has already commenced work. At this stage, the property rights of citizens living in houses slated for demolition are being processed.
To free up land for new construction, 14 residential buildings constructed in the 1950s, located on Piragova Street, the second Piragova Lane, and Lubanskaya Street, are planned for resettlement.
These are mainly private homes, as well as three two-story apartment buildings: two with eight apartments and one with twelve apartments.
The new housing, which "Minskstroy" will erect on the vacated site, is intended for citizens registered as needing improved living conditions.
The project envisages the construction of two residential buildings with a total area of 27.8 thousand square meters. One of the buildings will have 13 floors, the other — 16 floors. In addition to the buildings themselves, the new quarter will feature recreation areas, landscaped courtyards, children's playgrounds, and parking lots.
