A new residential quarter has begun to be built within the Minsk streets Hlaholieva, Hurskaha, and Ponomarenka. Five residential buildings with a total area of more than 40 thousand square meters are planned to be erected on this territory. For the construction, private buildings that currently remain on site will also be demolished, writes Blizko.by.

In the first stage, two buildings of 9-10 stories high will be constructed. They will be located on the territory of the former industrial zone, which was demolished in 2025.
Excavations for both buildings have already been prepared. Currently, builders are compacting the soil for the installation of strip foundations.

After the construction of the first two buildings, it is planned to build a distribution transformer substation, a sewage pumping station, and a booster pumping station. Three more residential buildings will appear in the next stage.
The city authorities approved plans for the development of this territory back in 2021. Both the industrial zone and the private sector were designated for demolition then.

However, the project's implementation began only in February 2025, when the industrial buildings were demolished. After this, the territory was fenced off, but construction work has only now commenced.
Private houses have not yet been affected, however, their demolition is already foreseen by the development plans.
