Mass flyovers of Russian drones into the Homel region, as previously happened during attacks on Ukrainian territory, have not yet been observed. However, the number of such incidents has increased. The publication "Flagstock" came to this conclusion after analyzing Ukrainian monitoring channels.

Since the beginning of February, at least three such flyovers have been recorded. The last one occurred on the morning of February 7: at 06:49, the channel "Rynda monitoring" reported that one drone flew into the Homel region via Chernobyl. And already at 07:13, information appeared that the drone was flying from Belarus towards Chernobyl. It is likely that the same device was being referred to.
A day earlier, on February 6, at 03:01, the same channel reported that a Russian drone was moving from the territory of Belarus in the direction of Ovruch. However, the exact place and time of its entry into Belarus were not reported.
Even earlier, on February 5, according to the "eRadar" channel, a pair of drones flew into Belarus, after which they headed along the border towards the Kyiv or Zhytomyr regions. There is no information about their further fate.
Thus, during the first week of February, there were at least three drone flyovers. In January, eight such cases were recorded. For comparison: in December 2025, there was not a single confirmed instance of crossing the Belarusian border, and in November, four cases were recorded.
The more active use of Belarusian territory by Russian drones coincided with the statement by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy about the neutralization of some antennas in border areas of Belarus, which, according to him, facilitated Russian attacks. He noted that Russia had long created air corridors for strikes on Ukrainian energy infrastructure, including with the help of drones, and technical support was provided through equipment on antennas in Belarus. According to Zelenskyy, Ukraine found a way to influence part of this infrastructure to reduce the scale of attacks.
In addition, the increase in the number of flyovers coincided with Russian military personnel losing access to the Starlink system.
