One of Russia's largest refineries, a fuel supplier for military aviation and equipment, has been attacked in the Yaroslavl region.

According to ASTRA's OSINT analysis, Slavneft-YANOS is burning — one of Russia's five largest refineries.
Mikhail Evraev, Governor of the Yaroslavl region, reported damage to the oil refinery and a fire.
"Two employees of the enterprise sustained shrapnel wounds. The injured have been hospitalized," Evraev wrote. According to him, services are working to extinguish the fire. The governor also claimed 124 drones were shot down overnight.
Local residents reported loud explosions and a fire at the enterprise. ASTRA's OSINT experts determined that it is specifically the Yaroslavl refinery that is on fire.
The plant's capacity is approximately 15 million tons of oil per year. It is part of the "Slavneft" company, which is jointly controlled by "Rosneft" and "Gazprom Neft".
The enterprise produces gasoline, diesel fuel, fuel oil, aviation kerosene, oils, and other petroleum products. It supplies consumers in the central and northwestern regions of Russia, including the Moscow region. Among its consumers are airports and facilities of the Russian military-industrial complex.
The plant has previously come under attack. According to ASTRA, on August 28, 2026, the primary oil refining unit AVT-4 was damaged. After an attack on September 17, the AVT-3 unit, which accounts for about 40% of the plant's total capacity, was damaged. At that time, the refinery ceased operations.
